Print endlessly without using a drop of ink.
While I initially bought my thermal printer to create shipping labels. These printers give you the ability print any kind of black and white sticker. Allowing you stick your designs on almost any surface.
Thermal printers cost around $150-200, but after the initial purchase you will only have to pay for the paper/stickers. You will never need ink and a 500 pack of 4 x 6 inch stickers cost around $20. While I also use it to print shipping labels, I use the ROLLO printer to create unique packaging, wall art and colleges, and customizing everyday objects. Below are a few examples of artwork and my ROLLO printer.

The thermal printer burns the special paper to create the black. The stickers can get a faded or grungy effect when printed out, but I think it adds more to the style. You can even print out multiple stickers and piece them together to create a large wall mural.

I treat all my designs in photoshop on a 4 x 6 inch document at 203 dpi (my ROLLO printers highest resolution setting). I then apply a threshold adjustment layer to make sure all the pixels are either black or white. You can get some pretty cool results and can print endless stickers for a cheap price.
